Preferred Candidate Profile for Pan Afrique Airlines
The ideal candidate should:
* Be highly organized
* Understand aviation operational costs

* Assist management with financial decision-making
* Have strong forecasting and reporting capabilities

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in any of these:
* Accounting
* Finance
* Economics
* Business Administration (Accounting Option)

Preferred Qualification
* Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (advantage)

Professional Certification
At least one of the following professional qualifications is preferred:
* Chartered Accountant Ghana (CA Ghana)
* ACCA
* CPA
* CIMA

Partly qualified candidates with strong experience may also be considered.

Experience Requirements
Minimum Number Of Years Of Experience
* 3–5 years of accounting experience

Preferred Experience
Experience in:
* Aviation industry
* Airline finance
* Travel & tourism sector
* Logistics or transportation industry

Experience in startup or growing organizations is an added advantage.

 Aviation Finance Knowledge
The Accountant should have knowledge of:
* Airline revenue accounting
* Ticket sales reconciliation
* BSP/IATA financial procedures
* Aircraft lease accounting
* Fuel cost monitoring
* Airport and handling charges
* Route profitability analysis
* Multi-currency transactions

Technical Skills
The candidate must be proficient in:
Accounting Software
* QuickBooks
* Sage
* SAP
* Oracle Financials

Computer Applications
* Advanced Microsoft Excel
* Microsoft Word
* PowerPoint
* Financial reporting tools

Additional Advantage
Knowledge of:
* Power BI
* Airline reservation systems
* Amadeus
* Sabre
* BSPLink

Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for:
-Financial Management
* Preparing financial statements
* Maintaining accounting records
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Bank reconciliations
* Payroll accounting

-Budgeting & Cost Control
* Monitoring operational expenses
* Fuel cost analysis
* Aircraft maintenance expenditure tracking
* Supporting route profitability analysis

-Revenue Accounting
* Ticket sales reconciliation
* Cargo revenue tracking
* Refund and reissue accounting

-Compliance & Audit
* Tax filings and VAT returns
* Preparing audit schedules
* Ensuring IFRS compliance
* Supporting regulatory reporting
