Ticketing and Reservation Officers Application
Pan Afrique Air is seeking professional, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Ticketing and Reservation Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline reservations, ticketing procedures, customer service, and Global Distribution Systems, especially Amadeus.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Booking and confirming passenger reservations.
- Creating, modifying, and managing Passenger Name Records.
- Issuing, reissuing, canceling, and refunding airline tickets.
- Providing passengers with accurate travel, fare, visa, and itinerary information.
- Assisting with flight schedules, routing, seat assignments, and check-in support.
- Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and itinerary changes professionally.
- Coordinating with airport, sales, and operations teams when required.
- Preparing daily sales, ticketing, and reservation reports.
- Promoting tour packages, charter services, and other ancillary services where applicable.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have at least one of the following:
- Senior High School Certificate
- Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred fields of study include:
- Travel and Tourism
- Aviation Management
- Hospitality Management
- Business Administration
- Any related field
Professional and Technical Requirements
Applicants should have certification or training in any of the following:
- Amadeus
- Airline ticketing and reservations
- Customer service
- IATA ticketing procedures
Candidates should also have knowledge of:
- Airline fare construction
- Flight schedules and routing
- Visa and travel requirements
- Airport and aviation terminology
- Online booking portals
- Email and reservation systems
- Microsoft Office Suite

Experience Requirements
Applicants should have 1–3 years of experience in any of the following areas:
- Airline reservations
- Travel agency operations
- Airport ticketing
- Airline customer service
Experience using Amadeus is highly preferred.
Additional Advantages
The following will be considered an added advantage:
- Knowledge of other GDS platforms such as Sabre or Galileo.
- Understanding of international aviation regulations.
- Familiarity with African, UK, Canadian, Caribbean, and East African travel requirements.
- Multilingual ability.
- Experience handling charter and scheduled flight operations.

TRAINING
Successful candidates undergo approximately 7–8 weeks of intensive training covering:
